It’s not too late to get your party tickets for Saturday, May 4th, 2024, when the Camosun College Faculty Association is set to celebrate an impressive milestone – 50 years of working together as one! Join us, as we commemorate half a century of solidarity, camaraderie, and cooperation! We are inviting faculty members, retirees, and their loved ones to join us in this momentous occasion. Admission to the event is priced at $40.00 per person. If you wish to bring a guest, please purchase separate tickets for your 19+ plus one, Click Here to buy your tickets.

This celebration is more than just a reflection on our past achievements. It is an opportunity to look forward, to strengthen our bonds, and to build future solidarity. We are commemorating the power of unity and the strength of a collective vision that has gotten us where we are now. Help us honour and celebrate your colleagues by sharing photos of you and your colleagues for our slide show! Click here to upload photos you are willing to share for use at the party.

The Venue

The grand gala will take place at the Ambrosia Banquet & Events, located at 638 Fisgard Street, Victoria BC.

The Schedule

Upon arrival, attendees can check-in to receive their union swag bundles between 5-5:30 PM.

A no-host open bar will be available from 5:30 PM to 10:30 PM, offering a variety of beverages for your enjoyment for $7 each.

At 6:00 PM, a deliciously catered buffet meal by the chefs from Royal Spice will be served. We are providing an accessible meal for a wide variety of dietary restrictions and preferences, including vegan, dairy-free, gluten-free, nut-free and non-nightshade selections. If you have other dietary restrictions, please inform us in advance.

Following the meal, we will begin our program honouring our union history and guests at 6:30 PM. This will be a moment to acknowledge the contributions of everyone who has been a part of our journey and to reflect on the path we have traversed together.

As the evening progresses, let loose and join us on the dance floor! We have the incredible DJ Tera Greene, also known as Nova Jade from BadRabbitRadio, to keep the party going with her electrifying beats.

Parking and Other Details

Parking is available at the Centennial Square Parkade. The banquet will conclude at 11:00 PM. Union imprinted merchandise will be available for purchase at cost + shipping & handling following the event on our Square Storefront.

We look forward to sharing this special evening with you, as we celebrate 50 years of solidarity, achievements, and a shared vision for a promising future. Together, we’ll raise a toast to the past, present, and future of the Camosun College Faculty Association.
