Free Webinar on Canadian Pension Plans & Climate Crisis

February 7, 2023 by Lynelle Yutani Leave a Comment

Hi Members!

Ally Flynn, our FPSE Pension Advisory Committee member, wanted me to share a free webinar link with you.  The webinar is Wednesday, February 8, @ 9 AM (12-1 EST).  You need to register for a spot, but there doesn’t appear to be a limit on attendees.  We know it is late notice for many of you, but it just came to our attention.

Canadian Pensions and the Climate Crisis: How does your pension stack up? Key findings from the inaugural Canadian Pensions Climate Report Card. www.eventbrite.ca
Workshop not affiliated with FPSE or CCFA.

The session is offered by Shift Action for Pension Wealth and Planet Health, a charitable initiative that works to protect pensions and the climate by bringing together beneficiaries and their pension funds to engage on the climate crisis.

Pensions are an important part of your total compensation package.  In May & June we will resume our Infosession Series and hold another “Check Your Pension” Infosession.  If you have specific questions before then, please reach out!  We encourage all members considering retiring in the next year to check in with the Union before declaring official retirement dates.

-Lynelle Yutani, on behalf of Ally Flynn
