Resources and Support Services for Those Affected by Intimate Partner and Gender-based Violence

Quick exit

The following resources are shared with care, in recognition of the harm caused by intimate partner and gender-based violence. This information may be difficult to read, especially for those with lived experience of violence, loss, or trauma. Please take your time, engage only as you feel able.

If you are in an emergency situation, call 911 (in Canada). If you are outside the 911 service area, visit the Get help now page to find emergency services.

These supports are offered for anyone who may be struggling right now, who is seeking information for themselves or for someone they care about, or who simply wants to know what help is available. The Camosun College Faculty Association serves it’s members while residing on the traditional and unceded territories of the Lkwungen (Esquimalt and Songhees) and W̱SÁNEĆ (Pauquachin, Tsartlip, Tsawout, Tseycum) peoples. We express our profound gratitude to our traditional hosts’ welcome and tolerance of our uninvited presence while we strive to dismantle our colonial, patriarchal, and racist cultural biases.
