Na'tsa'maht - Working Together as One: Artist Butch Dick

Hello Members,

We hope you can join us for the Annual General Meeting!

You should already have a meeting invite for our AGM in your Outlook calendars, on April 30 from 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM, including lunch. If you don’t, please contact us. Even if you don’t plan to attend, please follow the invite for updates, official agenda, motions, and officer reports closer to the meeting date.

Come early for coffee and tea starting at 8:30am, and the meeting will begin at 9.

Schedule:

8:30 – 9:00:Tea & Coffee served as members assemble together at HH 111 (HH Dining Annex), please remember to bring your own coffee mugs, glasses, or water bottles!
9:00 – 12:00:AGM Business Move to the LACC Lecture Theatre – LACC 124 (Executive Officer Reports, Discussion & Approval of Draft Budget, Election of the 2025/2026 CCFA Executive)
12:00 – 1:00:Lunch Social – A delicious lunch prepared by Camosun’s Culinary Arts will be served at HH 111 (HH Dining Annex)
1:00-3:15:AGM Business continues, followed by Guest Speakers & Union Professional Development Move to the LACC Lecture Theatre-  LACC 124
3:15:Door Prizes!

If you haven’t already done so, please respond to the Outlook invite so we can order the correct number of lunches. Catering will be by Cullinary Arts. We are planning an inclusive menu with vegan, dairy-free, and gluten-free options. If you have any special dietary needs, please email ac.ytlucafnusomac@afcc to let us know by Monday, April 13th. We also aim to reduce food waste by ordering only for those who accept the invite, but inevitably end up with extra so please, bring your take-home containers, too!

ALL MEMBERS should know that you HAVE THE RIGHT to attend, even if this meeting conflicts with your teaching schedule. Now, we know that not everyone is interested or willing to step away from teaching just to attend a Union meeting, but if you want to, all you have to do is politely inform your Dean or Director that you won’t be available to teach during the meeting.

If you think you might be interested in serving on our Executive Committee, get in touch with the CCFA Nominations Committee. For more information, please visit your CCFA Website or contact us at ac.ytlucafnusomac@afcc.
